Privacy Policy

1. What Data We Collect

• Account information: your name, email address and password (stored only as a hash) when you create an account.
• Phone number and country: collected when you create an account and used to check that a new registration is not from Russia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, Syria or Cuba, where we do not accept new sign-ups. We do not use them to contact you or for marketing. You can see the values held for you on your profile page.
• Payment information: the card details, cardholder name and billing address you enter at checkout are passed over an encrypted connection to our payment processor, which takes the payment; we never store full card numbers or security codes. We keep the amount, currency, status and transaction ID of each payment and your credit balance.
• Machine and usage data: the machines you deploy (tier, status, start and stop times), the connection details issued to them, and the credit each one used.
• How you found us: if you answer the one-time “How did you find GamePC?” question in your dashboard or by email, your answer.
• Technical data: your IP address and the country looked up from it, browser type and device information, collected when you visit, sign up, sign in or pay, to keep accounts safe and refuse sign-ups from the countries we do not serve.
• Messages to support: what you write to our support address and our replies.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide, operate, and maintain the GamePC service.
• To process payments and manage your credit balance.
• To send service emails: verification codes, password resets, a welcome email, payment receipts, machine started/delayed/stopped notices, low-balance warnings, and once, a one-question “How did you find GamePC?” survey. We do not send marketing emails.
• To monitor for abuse, fraud, and security threats.
• To improve the service based on aggregate usage patterns.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties only as needed to operate the service:

• Our infrastructure providers: supply the GPU hosts that run GamePC machines. Machine configuration and session data is shared to provision and manage your machines.
• Payment processor: processes all payments. The card details you enter are passed to it to take the payment and are handled under its own privacy policy.
• Email delivery provider: delivers our emails on our behalf; it receives your email address and the message.
• Product analytics provider: pages viewed, buttons clicked, the referring website or campaign link and your answer to the “How did you find GamePC?” question, only if you accept Analytics in the cookie banner. When you are signed in, these events are linked to your account email and name.
• Hosting and database providers: host the website and store account, machine and payment data.
• Team messaging app: alerts about sign-ups, sign-ins, payments and survey answers (email, name, IP address and country) go to our team's messaging app, so we can spot fraud and help customers quickly.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Machine state is preserved for 24 hours after a machine is stopped; after that, the machine and its data are permanently deleted, normally within the following hour. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (e.g., billing records).

5. Your Rights

• Access: you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: you can update your account information at any time from your dashboard.
• Deletion: you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support.
• Portability: you can request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and secure infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please contact us at support@gamepc.io.
