Privacy Policy

1. What Data We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, and hashed password when you create an account.
• Phone number and country: collected when you create an account and used to screen your registration against the jurisdictions we are not permitted to serve. We do not use them to contact you or for marketing. You can see the values held for you on your profile page.
• Billing information: card details you enter are passed over an encrypted connection to our card payment partner, which processes the payment. We store transaction IDs and credit balances but never store full card numbers or security codes.
• Usage data: machine configurations, session durations, resource consumption, and general usage patterns to operate and improve the service.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically when you visit our site.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide, operate, and maintain the GamePC service.
• To process payments and manage your credit balance.
• To send transactional emails such as verification codes, password resets and low-balance warnings.
• To monitor for abuse, fraud, and security threats.
• To improve the service based on aggregate usage patterns.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties only as needed to operate the service:

• Vast.ai: provides the GPU marketplace whose hosts run GamePC machines. Machine configuration and session data is shared to provision and manage your machines.
• Our card payment partner: processes all payments. The card details you enter are passed to them to take the payment and are subject to their privacy policy.
• Resend: delivers transactional emails on our behalf. Your email address is shared with Resend for this purpose.
• PostHog: product analytics (pages viewed and buttons clicked), only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner. When you are signed in, these events are linked to your account email and name.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Machine state is preserved for 24 hours after a machine is stopped. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (e.g., billing records for tax purposes).

5. Your Rights

• Access: you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: you can update your account information at any time from your dashboard.
• Deletion: you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support.
• Portability: you can request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, and secure infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please contact us at security@gamepc.io.
